Musk ox and caribou. Much of the grass hay from the region is low in copper and the animals need to be properly supplemented.

20 inches of snow. 20 degrees above. The dogs were thrilled. At zero they tend to last about 5 minutes outside; better with booties if you can keep them on their feet and not lose them in the deep snow.

White out snow storm through Haines, Alaska.
Amelia isn't peeing. Less than 5 minutes in the snow at -35 F and she broke in half. I don't think she ever peed outside of the car.
