Week at a glance: Saved a dog from a splenic hemorrhage. Saw an old sled dog with a mouth full of rotten teeth. All but 4 teeth were extracted and then he was returned to the shelter. Saw many puppies. And many owners new to puppies. Found a tumor under the tongue of a cat. Will euthanize her at home tomorrow. Regulating a dog with diabetes. The same one whose eye I scratched on with the pointy end of a needle to help heal an ulcer. It's been a week. I love it. I'm exhausted.
